![]() I asked for help from HS and the response sucked- told to restore from backups (NO KIDDING?), no instructions on how to do that, no instructions on what files to use, etc. ![]() I did some Google research, and found that the system is supposed to be saving automated backups in the c:\\xxx\HS4\data folder. Upon logging in, I now see NONE of my z-wave devices, unable to see most of the devices added via plugins (Envisalink and Tesla information, for example). On restart, had a number of errors on the startup log having to do with the JSON, I believe the error message was this:Įrror while reading devices.json : Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Eventually required a reboot via the reset on the front of the computer. Unable to close HS4 despite multiple attempts. Am using a remote desktop to the server, essentially became unresponsive. While creating and editing events, my system became unresponsive. and was working on rebuilding the automation via events last night. Over the last 10 days I've moved over about 100 devices, a ton of virtual devices/plug ins, etc. So I'm about 10 days into my homeseer "experience." Trying to move over from Vera.
